Join Us as a Volunteer at bstreetsmart
For nearly two decades, bstreetsmart has been dedicated to educating young drivers and reducing road trauma among students in years 10 to 12 across NSW and the ACT. Hosted at Qudos Bank Arena, this impactful event has reached over 247,000 students from 435 schools, offering realistic insights into the consequences of road crashes through dynamic demonstrations and interactive exhibits.
Why we need you
With thousands of students attending, the success and safety of bstreetsmart heavily rely on the support of committed volunteers. Whether you can assist for a single day or throughout the event, your contribution is invaluable. Volunteer roles include ushering, assisting at coach parking and railway stations, serving as floor safety officers, and providing general support to ensure the event runs smoothly.
Volunteer benefits
As a token of our appreciation, volunteers are provided with food and beverages at the Q Bar on the Main Concourse (Level 2). Complimentary parking is available in Car Park P1; simply present your ticket at the external cloakroom upon sign-in to receive a subsidized ticket. Additionally, nursing staff who volunteer or manage interactive displays can accrue 4 CPD hours per day, as recognized by The Australian College of Nursing.
How to register
If you’re interested in volunteering, please fill out your details with your name, email address, mobile number, and the days you’re available to assist. There’s no need to complete the Qudos Bank General Safety induction online. Upon arrival, you’ll receive a high-visibility vest and all necessary information to perform your role effectively.
Your involvement ensures that bstreetsmart continues to be a transformative experience for young drivers, equipping them with the knowledge and strategies to make safer choices on the road.
