Volunteer Acknowledgement

By registering to assist with the WSLHD Youth Driving Safety Program, I understand that I am participating in an informal volunteer capacity and am not an employee of WSLHD.

I acknowledge that I am responsible for taking reasonable care for my own safety and agree to follow all reasonable instructions provided by WSLHD staff and event personnel.

I understand that I must not undertake any activity outside the tasks assigned to me on the day.

I acknowledge that WSLHD’s insurance arrangements may apply only to authorised activities conducted under the direction of WSLHD staff.

I understand that if my role involves direct interaction with participants aged under 18, I may be required to hold a valid Working With Children Check or be supervised at all times by WSLHD staff.
