Organ and Tissue Donation – Make It Count

Around 1,800 Australians are currently waiting for a life-saving organ transplant. Registering as a donor is one of the most powerful decisions you can make, and it only takes a minute.
Anyone aged 16 and over can register their decision to become an organ and tissue donor. It takes less than a minute. Just log in to your myGov account, go to Medicare, and select ‘Organ Donor Registration’ under ‘Services’.

 
For Schools

Teachers can access a free Schools Program to support age-appropriate discussions about organ and tissue donation. It includes lesson plans, videos, and real stories to help students understand the impact of donation.
Guest speakers, including transplant recipients and donor families, may also be available. Get in touch to learn more.
